Hundreds of wonderful artworks inspired by HOPE that were donated by artists filled the Ambush gallery space in Chippendale. The works sold raised funds towards the Cancer Council research into prevention, information and advocacy for cancer patients in NSW. Amongst it all were Bushybush.
Bushybush presented drawing shows over two days and children joined in; drawing and colouring Bushy characters like Mouse in a Teapot and a big Bunyip. Two large paintings were completed using paints and canvases donated by Derivan and they will be used to raise funds for Cancer Council. Lots of painting and poetry! So, calling all the artists out there; get involved in the next Breakthrough art festival and fill the event with demonstrations and performances. Breakthrough withsounds, movement and the sloshing on of paint!
